Getting "Hammered" the Responsible Way…
It’s just about time to let everyone “taste” the finished “soup”…but not until Feb. 10th.
For now, you’ll have to live with this tiny peek:

This necklace makes me want to eat a big bowl of raspberries with kiwis and strawberries and blueberries mixed in…dangit…now you’ve made me hungry! Great job!

Thanks everyone! I’m tickled with the results and with all the compliments. Thanks to Lori for hosting such a fun exchange and especially to Linda for supplying such amazing beads to work with.
this is yummy soup indeed! very cute definitely something I would wear
This reminds me of a piece of watermelon candy. Delish! Gorgeous design and stunning color!
Thank you Leslie! I am surprised that I didn’t make the watermelon connection…I support a charity whose logo is a watermelon slice and I have a line of Joolz inspired by watermelon colors/shapes to benefit The Melonhead Foundation.
Back again and ready to feast my eyes on your creation, it sure was worth the wait! I love how you took the elements of the focal, the smooth and shininess of the glass and paired that on one side with the pearls, and then the earthy colors inside, recalling the sand glass is created from in the roughness of the resin beads on the other. It really gives the whole piece more interest than just a pretty baubble, it speaks of the elements and talents used. I love it!
Hope you are enjoying the Party!
