Not that kind of brew, though I almost picked something with a “tea” flavor in the beads. Another time. Instead I’m stretching the theme a bit with witches (you’ll have to imagine the brew).
It’s Ornament Thursday and along with my project, you’ll find links to about a dozen other great projects in the theme of “Brew”. I am headed out of town on Friday to lovely Burlingame across from San Francisco for a three-day class, Hooked on Wire. It’s my second year and I’m almost ready (OK, I’ll start packing Friday morning
).
In the meantime, I found some very cute lampwork beads by Suzy Lambert (Rhapsody Fire Beads) from a couple years ago. Very appropriate for the theme and leading into Halloween. As time was limited, I chose to make some stylishly simple hairsticks with the witch bead and a coordinating ghost bead as the decorations. They are wired with sterling silver wire and ready to wear! That’s it. Easy Peasy. I got these hairsticks from Fire Mountain Gems.
Here’s another look at them. Be sure to take a look at the rest of the projects from the talented OT group!

Hi, Lisa,
Pretty cool! And those remind me of the hair sticks we sell, so you’re giving me ideas…
